Mike brings 21 years of industry experience to the Firm and is a member of the Firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. As Global Chief Investment Officer, he leads Harrison Street’s efforts related to investment strategy, as well as the expansion into new sectors and strategies across North America.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mike worked within the Transactions group of Prudential Real Estate Investors (“PREI”). While at PREI, he sourced, underwrote and closed real estate acquisitions and joint venture development opportunities for the real estate investment management/private equity group. In this capacity, he performed comprehensive due diligence, analyzed property and partnership investment structures, coordinated and directed project teams, and collaborated with operating partners, including developers, investors and managers.

Mike received his BBA from the Emory University Goizueta Business School where he remains involved in Emory Alumni Association initiatives. He is active within numerous industry associations, including National Investment Center, American Senior Housing Association, Self Storage Association and Building Owners and Managers Association.
