Mark brings 21 years of industry experience to the Firm and is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. As Head of the North American Transactions platform, he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the North American Transactions group. In addition, he is responsible for sourcing transactions and forming joint venture relationships. Mark is also a member of the Firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance Committee and a Sponsor of the Harrison Street Network of Women (HS NOW) affinity group.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mark was at Morgan Stanley within its Merchant Banking Real Estate Investing Group. While there, he sourced, underwrote and closed acquisition and joint venture opportunities in the US, Canada and Mexico for several of its funds. In this capacity, he analyzed potential acquisitions, development and redevelopment opportunities across the capital structure, property types and risk/return fund parameters.

Mark graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics as well as Finance, Investments Banking. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
